***EU-METALIC II New Call for Applications – Cohort 3 Round2 ***

A Call for Applications for Cohort 3 Round 2 will open on Monday, 16th May 2016 and close on Thursday, 30th June 2016 at 23:59 GMT. It will be open to STAFF LEVELS only and to nationals of Europe, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya. Please visit the Project website:www.eu-metalic2.eu for further information.


***EU-METALIC II New Call for Applications – Cohort 3 ***

A Call for Applications for Cohort 3 will open September 25 and close December 1, 2015 at 23:59 GMT. It will be open to undergraduate and staff levels and to nationals of Europe, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya. The call will NOT be open to nationals of Egypt. Please visit the Project website:www.eu-metalic2.eu for further information.


For STAFF applicants: it is still possible to apply to EU-METALIC II-Cohort Morocco edition. The call will currently remain open for this level until further notice. Please stay updated by visiting this page.


The deadline for the Cohort-Morocco Edition Call for Applications for the POST-DOCTORATE and STAFF levels has been extended to 20th April 2015 12:00 GMT.

10th January 2014 - EU-METALIC II Webinar

“A Webinar about Scholarship Opportunities through the EU-METALIC II Project, delivered by the Project Coordinators (Cardiff Metropolitan University) and hosted by the Egyptian Scholars (ES) organisation, will be taking place this Friday, 10th January 2014 at 3:30pm GMT. Please join us!

The session will be delivered from a Third Country candidate applying to the EU’s perspective. However, the event is open to everyone and applies to European applicants as well. All participants will get the opportunity to have all their questions answered directly by the coordinator at the end of the talk. Key topics such as eligibility criteria, target groups, application documents and using the application database will be covered. The aim of the session is to equip you with all the information, hints, tips and tricks that will enable you to submit a quality application before the upcoming deadline in order to improve your chances of being granted a scholarship.”

“New courses added for European Applicants!”

The EU-METALIC II Project offers scholarships at Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post Doctorate and Staff Levels. This scholarship is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus Mundus Programme and covers travel, insurance (health, travel and accident), participation costs and a monthly subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the project.

Before you register with us to apply for an EU-METALIC II Scholarship, please check the Eligibility Criteria, types of scholarships available, the Fields of Study offered by Partner Universities and the Selection Documents required for the programme you are applying for by partner universities as listed on the project website.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Extension of Deadline

The deadline for the First Call for applications for the EU-METALIC II Scholarship Project has been extended until Friday, 31st January 2014 at 23:59 GMT.

We would advise all of you not to leave your applications to the last minute in order to avoid any high website traffic issues. If your application is ready, please submit the same as you will gradually have limited support with regards to receiving responses to your queries as we approach the deadline.

We urge you to clarify any doubts that you may have as soon as possible by contacting the Host University, Coordinator or Help Desk for any technical queries. We will attempt to address all your questions as quickly as possible but please allow between 24 - 48 hours at least for receiving a response.
